Enterprise Risk Management

Job Specification

To qualify for the position the Risk Management consultant must:

• Have good project understanding and experience;
• Understanding of a mining / technical environment;
• Previous Risk management experience with a focus on Enterprise Risk (Broader Business Risk); 
• Formal Qualifications in Risk Management
• Engineering or a Commercial qualification.

Scope of work:

The aim of this scope of work is to ensure that all the Projects managed by the companies Project Development complies with the standards and requirements specified by the company regarding risk management.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Conducting Risk assessments;
• Managing the Risk control; and

You will be responsible for doing a Risk assessment through the following:

• Using the Risk rating methodology;
• Calculating the Maximum foreseeable loss (MFL);
• Calculating the Residual Risk Rating;
• Selecting the severity factor; and
• Risk monitoring and control.
