Embedded Software Engineer, Associate
Position Summary
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, and C/C++ language (or other middle to high-level language) required.
- Courses covering embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, C/C++ language, technical writing, and mathematics desired. Knowledge of both the functional and the object oriented paradigms for analysis, design, and programming desired.
