CNC Machinist

Our client is a family owned and operated precision machine shop. They service the mining, marine, agricultural, rail, military, medical, and aerospace industries. They are an extremely stable employer and are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Overview

Our client is looking for CNC Machinists that have experience working horizontal boring mills and lathes using FANUC controls for the day and afternoon shift.

Are You Qualified?

5 years experience working with FANUC controlled horizontal boring mills and lathes
2-3 years experience working in a heavy machine shop
1-2 years experience working with overhead cranes

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Working in a heavy machine shop
Company environment is laid back but extremely focused
Some lifting of raw material into CNC Machines and lifting completed parts out of the machine upon completion of program
Utilizing an overhead crane for heavy parts
Have to be able to set up tooling and some program editing

Attributes:

Good team player that focuses on jobs but is willing to help and discuss problems and solutions as they arise
Some flexibility in shifts as there is a small rotation (1 week rotation per 6 week timeframe)
