Vice President Operations

As a key member of the senior executive team, the Vice President Operations will play a crucial role in the aggressive pursuit of the near term goal of increased production from the Company's Roy Lloyd Mine and new high grade production from the Komis, and EP deposits.

Leading the development, mining and milling operations in compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and environmental legislation, regulations and best practices;

• Preparing plans and budgets for areas of responsibility which include development, mining and milling operations;
• Executing programs in accordance with approved plans and budgets, as well as providing timely reporting in connection with the execution of the programs;
• Hiring, managing, directing and mentoring all operations-related personnel with a view to achieving program objectives in a timely and cost efficient manner;
• Overseeing and managing all operations-related contractors;
• Assisting the President and other members of senior executive team with Board relations, community relations, investor relations, government relations, and industry relations;
• As a member of the senior executive team, monitoring business opportunities, managing activities directed to advancing acquisitions, and assisting in negotiations;

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum 15 years experience in the mineral resource industry with previous experience at senior management level
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate mining, processing and administration activities
• Sound business acumen with knowledge of financial and accounting practices
• Professional Engineer designation in mining or related engineering discipline

As senior executive, you will be required to maintain a flexible schedule between operations sites and the Saskatoon Head Office.
