Description and Desired Qualifications
- Our Process Engineering Internship will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our Clients provide a safe and reliable source of Energy to heat homes, fuel automobiles, and move goods and services in support of millions of people. Each day you will be part of a professional team that provides design services to our Clients. Our Process Engineering intern will be exposed to a variety of technical and business functions with ever-increasing levels of complexity. You will receive a well-rounded, “real-world" experience while participating in diverse and interesting projects to develop your skills and broaden your experience. You should also have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with this internship opportunity.
Our Process Engineering Interns:
- Generate and back-check various spreadsheet lists such as equipment lists, pipeline lists, manual valve lists and specialty item lists
- Generate and back-check Word documents such as equipment specifications
- Check continuation consistency (flag to flag) on PFD's and P&ID's Back-check drawings from CAD
- Assist with handling and tracking of vendor submittals
- Create and/up-date calculation tools and/or databases
- Work under the direction of a Process Discipline Lead Engineer
- Must be enrolled in an accredited Chemical Engineering program and be in your Junior or Senior year
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
