Description and Desired Qualifications
- Our Environmental Intern jobs are your opportunity to help restore environmentally impaired sites for economic use. Each day, you will assist Project Managers on research, data management, and technical report writing for challenging environmental projects. You should be a self-motivated, team-focused individual who is currently enrolled in an environmental or civil degree program and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each environmental intern job.
Our Environmental Interns:
- Share work experiences in a positive work environment where talents are valued Invest in meaningful endeavors, both assigned and voluntary, that are part of building a better world Contribute to a company dedicated to sustainable development practices
- Work on environmental consulting activities which may include contaminated site assessment and remediation projects, ecological and natural resource and sediment damage assessments, strategic environmental management and permitting services, environmental liability management services, ordnance and explosives management services, remedial design, treatment systems for hazardous and toxic waste contaminated properties, and sustainable development planning and design services
- Build upon knowledge gained through coursework
- Apply knowledge of Word and Excel to data management and technical report writing
Basic Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an Engineering, Hydrogeology, or Geology degree program with an Environmental or Civil focus.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel.
