Survey Instrument Person

Overview:

  • The individual in this position will be responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates all survey equipment (G.P.S., total station, level, etc.).
  • Keeps equipment in proper working order.
  • Keeps truck fully stocked of materials.
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of the plans (Blueprint reading).
  • Maintains up-to-date field book.
  • Working on NICET certification.
  • Performs basic survey calculations to help Party Chief.

Qualifications:

  • Working on NICET certification and has at least two years survey experience, preferably in a construction environment.
