Construction Principal 1

The ARCADIS North American Construction Environmental Services group seeks a Principal level professional to serve as a prime contact on D4 and other related remedial construction work.

This position will be responsible for:

• Managing clients, projects, programs, and staff in multiple offices
• Growing new remedial construction opportunities
• Act as program manager, managing project managers and field staff, on complex projects from inception to closure
• Management of site construction and remediation projects, and related environmental support services
• Participate in practice and technical development groups
• Lead project scoping and proposal development efforts
• Establish and maintain positive and effective client relationships and help generate new work
• Organize and direct internal staff and external subcontractors in accordance with project priorities, guidelines and contractual obligations
• Act as a senior technical resource
• Generate revenue on multiple projects or sustained positions within accounts
• Identify cross sell opportunities

Basic and Required Qualifications:

• Minimum years of experience: 20
• Extensive experience in D4 project planning & implementation
• Experience developing and managing programs supporting multiple field operations
• Experience putting together teams to work on large D4 projects
• Experience and business contacts in the western US
• Experience and contacts in the Oil & Gas , Aerospace & Federal market sectors
• Experience managing business aspects of a company or division
• Strong technical experience for D4, remedial construction and industrial response projects
• Proven business development experience
• Education required: BS in Science or Engineering
• This position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 50%.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
