Project Environmental Engineer
[Company] is seeking an experienced Sediments and Water Quality Engineer to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing project tasks related to sediment site remedial investigation/site assessment and/or remedial construction design and oversight.
- Coordinating and/or performing field investigation and remedial construction oversight activities.
- Prepare feasibility studies,
- Manage or assist in the preparation of remedial designs,
- Mentor and supervise staff
- Participate in client teams and in the management of clients.
- Exercises independent judgment and evaluation.
- Coordinating and managing contractors/clients.
- Managing project tasks, writing reports, and data evaluation and management.
Position can be located in any of the following offices:
- Walnut Creek, Petaluma, San Francisco, Emeryville
Basic and Required Qualifications:
- Motivated and enthusiastic team member with good interpersonal skills.
- Well-versed in CERCLA, water quality, and sediment regulations.
- Proven ability to successfully perform in high pressure environments.
- Minimum years of experience: 8
- Education required: BS Environmental or Civil Engineering
- Education preferred: MS Environmental or Civil Engineering
- Registrations/Certifications required: Prefer PE
- Previous experience in consulting, industry, and/or government agencies with sediment experience required.
- This position does require travel.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
- This position does manage others.
