Principal Environmental Engineer

ARCADIS is seeking a Project Manager in Virginia Beach with 10+ years’ experience in water and sewer infrastructure in Hampton Roads, specifically with Southside target clients (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk and HRSD). This position will focus on 'outside the fence' type work including, but not limited to. large diameter transmission, pump station and storage, sewer rehabilitation, and consent order compliance. The person in this position will have the technical skills necessary to perform the work, manage the work and assist the local Client Manager with pursuit of future work.

This person should have the leadership and client presentation skills necessary to grow the buried infrastructure business with Southside clients and the desire to be a leader within the buried infrastructure group, primarily working with the Client Managers capable of bringing in an additional $3 to $5 M in additional revenues each year. A B.S. in engineering is necessary. A P.E. in Virginia or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity is required.

• Years’ experience preferred: 15 (last 5 years in the Virginia Beach area)
• Skills preferred: Proposal Prep/Interview/Presentation/Project Management
• This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
