Environmental Engineer
[Company] is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support a growing base of projects in our Melville, NY offices. This is an entry to junior level opportunity for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in environmental consulting. Engineering work may include site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies. Fieldwork may include soil and groundwater collection, operation and maintenance activities for remediation systems, soil gas surveys, groundwater well installation, and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. In addition to engineering, office work may include data compilation, report writing, and regulatory file review.
This position offers an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of environmental projects, work with a great team, and join a successful growing organization with a reputation for high quality work and top notch employees.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
- Minimum years of experience: 0-1
- Education required: BS degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Skills required: Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Registrations/Certifications preferred:
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER
- Years’ experience preferred: 0-1
- This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
