Job Description:

  • Senior Project Level Environmental Scientist / Geologist / Engineer
  • San Francisco Office
  • Dynamic Environmental & Engineering Consulting Office actively seeks skilled and experienced Environmental Engineer, Environmental Geologist, or Environmental Scientist for Project Level Environmental Professional role within our San Francisco, CA office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will include environmental project and task management, preparing technical reports, development and oversight of remedial/removal actions, field sampling and field procedures, supervision of soil and groundwater investigations.
  • Business development and preparation of proposals, personnel supervision, and assistance in staff development/mentoring in technical areas.
  • Capable of managing and preparing project proposals, including delegating various tasks.
  • Developing an area of expertise and internal reputation as a technical resource in this area.
  • Understands all aspects of project management, including scheduling, cost controls, and cost tracking.
  • Manages client expectations and maintains routine communication with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Reports to Environmental Program Manager on project status.

Job Experience Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Geology or Science, M.S. preferred
  • California P.E. / P.G. or R.G. or other professional certifications strongly preferred
  • Must have current 40 hour Hazwoper
  • 8 to 15 or more years of previous experience in the environmental, engineering, or water resource consulting field.
  • 40-hour OSHA certification;
  • Previous experience managing Environmental Construction a plus
