Manager Corporate Strategy

This mid-cap organisation is looking to grow its management team in the way of a senior corporate advisor. Operating in the mid-west of Western Australia, this role will provide corporate advice of best practice, cost reduction, procurement both on and off-site. Based in Perth, this is an opportunity to contribute to this organisation's core management functionality that in time will require the development and management of a dedicated team.

About the Role: 
In the role you will be responsible for managing the internal corporate development function whilst providing financial modelling and incorporating feasibility analysis, business valuations. You will also research and provide commentary on internal project and investment evaluations; reporting value adding findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and decision makers whilst developing relationships with external advisors across the business. Your aim should be to create a high performing culture; where highly skilled team members wish to challenge and develop their own careers.

Key Skills and Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess executive level corporate finance experience, ideally gained from within a highly sought-after consulting environment. You are an astute communicator with the ability to present to a senior audience. You also have successful track record working with clients to achieve history of client partnerships in project management, cost control, due diligence or mergers and acquisitions. You will need to be an excellent influencer who is capable of delivering convincing internal and external presentations. To be successful, you will also require formal qualifications gained in commerce/business, law or engineering. An in-depth knowledge of mining and mining services will assist your application.
