This organisation is internationally recognised owner/operator in mining and technology.  Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Safety Manager to join their successful team of Health and Safety professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and work alongside major players in the mining and resources sector.

The primary objective of the role is to positively promote a safety culture from a management level through to site works. You will possess excellence in leadership skill and an ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of groups.

Experience in similar level positions within the coal industry is essential. Experience in underground coal operation will be highly regraded.  Recent roles will have provided the opportunity to demonstrate skills in interpersonal communication, risk management, incident and accident investigation.

As a minimum, you will hold current OHS qualifications, Cert IV Training and Assessment, S1;S2;S3 and G2;G3. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is offered in return for your professional expertise and commitment.
