Senior Exploration Geologist

This exploration company has had promising drilling results from the minimal explorations which has already been completed, and are now increasing their number of drill rigs and staff. You will have the opportunity to join and lead a project team at the early stages of exploration where your experience and knowledge will be utilised.
 
As an Exploration Geologist you will enjoy living and working in a remote area. Your main responsibilities will include:
-          Managing a team of Junior Geologists and drilling contractors
-          Ensure the drilling programme is kept on track and on schedule
-          Supervise RC chip / diamond core logging and assist with any issues / queries
-          Planning and interpreting the data collected
-          Ensuring high levels of OHS standards are adhered to
 
You will bring a Tertiary Qualification in Geology with 5-10 years of experience working in a field based role, managing people and supervising drill rig programmes. Previous experience with gold is desired and in return you will be offered a highly competitive day rate with the opportunity for a permanent role.
