Divisional Manager - Regional Field Services

This Rockhampton based Field Maintenance Service Company is one of the largest of its type in the region is now looking to appoint a proactive and experienced Divisional Manager to focus heavily on supporting the growth of their regional field service division.   
 
Reporting directly to the General Manager you will take ownership of the business unit with your primary focus being the strategic expansion of a growing workforce and at the same time ensuring maximum profitability. Implementation of systems, processes and procedures to underpin this growth is a critical success factor of the role.

The role involves travel within central Queensland and requires a confident, self motivated person with a high level of negotiation skills who thrives on the challenge of balancing customer needs against consistent profitable growth. It is essential that you can demonstrate a strategic and proactive leadership style whilst driving business expansion  within the Bowen Basin Mining region.  Experience in managing and negotiating tenders, and a strong financial understanding is essential.
 
If you have the acumen to develop business strategies combined with the ability to execute your plans then this will be a critical element of your success in this dynamic opportunity.  Ideally you will have had experience at retaining and originating new and existing business of a field services labour hire workforce within the heavy machinery and mining industry.  
 
An ability to communicate with a broad audience combined with a proven track record of presenting corporate services to new and existing clients is prerequisite for this role.
