Responsibilities of the Geotechnical Engineer role will include:
In charge of Geotechnical investigations which includes proposals, reports to testing and inspections.
Dealing with tender proposals and reviews.
Involvement in writing detailed reports.
Soil testing and sampling.
Involvement in open cut and underground mine geotechnics
Providing technical advice and expertise on mining geotechnical engineering matters.
Requirements of the Geotechnical Engineer include:
Degree qualification in mining / geotechnical engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years experience working as a geotechnical engineer on mining operations.
Proficient in software packages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
