Company Profile:
My client is a leading Engineering firm and they is looking to strengthen their Brisbane division and also Wollongong division. They are responsible for designing bulk materials handling equipments and refining/processing plants in the mining and minerals industry. With expansions on the way with greenfield and brownfield projects coming up, they are looking towards recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to be located in Brisbane and in Wollongong, Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepares designs, specifications and documentation for bulk materials handling equipments, conduct audits and site assessments and ensure the compliance with project scope of works.
• Ensures project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepares documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitors regimes in respect of work on or around civil engineering projects.
• Liaises with other department engineers and draftspersons to ensure project goals are met.
• Assists with the preparation of budget.
Requirements:
-8 years of Structural Engineering experience in Mining Structures or Materials Handling for Senior Structural Engineer position
-CPEng or RPEQ will be a bonus
-Demonstrated commercial acumen in the engineering and construction environment.
YOU MUST BE A PERMANENT RESIDENT TO APPLY AND HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AUSTRALIA.
