You will be joining a highly successful mining and exploration company with significant operations and exploration projects within Australia and Overseas.  

Based at one of their established mining operations in North Queensland, you will be an integral member of the technical services team operating on an excellent 8/6 roster and residing in fantastic single-persons accommodation with camp mess facilities and meals provided.

Role
This is a diverse and exciting position, enabling you to gain exposure to a wide range of duties, including:  -  
  • Drill & Blast designs and schedules
  • Explosives & Inventory management
  • Ventilation Surveys
  • Mine Design
  • Short - Long term planning/scheduling
  • Operations Management & Supervision
  • OHS & Risk Management
Requirements
You will be a degree qualified Mining Engineer with previous experience in underground hard rock mining operations and have completed their underground time.
Previous experience with Surpac or equivalent mine planning and scheduling software will be required.

Remuneration
A competitive package will be on offer, as well as excellent training and development to further your career as a professional Mining Engineer.

Salaries on offer will be in the vicinity of $110K - $130K + Super and will largely depend on your level of experience and relevant skills.  Salaries outside this range will be considered for outstanding candidates.
