With offices and projects around Australia, you will be working with some of Australia's most prestigious multi-billion dollar Mining Projects. As part of your contribution, you will be rewarded with an hourly rate of $85-$95 negotiable on experience coupled with a fantastic opportunity to join a true industry leader. You will be working as part of a multi-talented, cross-functional and highly qualified team across a mine expansion which will include expanding the mine facilities, rail capacity enhancement program, and port expansion.

What you will be doing?
  • As a Site Planner, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Schedule development & updates, deliverable completion and progress updates
  • Preparing and defining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) through interfacing with the project team
  • Collection, accurate understanding, presentation of planning and scheduling data from the project team and entering into the EPCM systems including EMS & Primavera
  • Making sure there is full compliance with all procedures
  • Preparation & presentation of changes to the project scope of works

To apply for this role you must have:
  • Ideally a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline
  • Ideally 5+ years experience in a planning role with a background in rail projects
  • Proficient IT skills in Primavera, Excel & Access
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Methodology
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
  • Strong planning experience in a mining or associated heavy industry position
