About the company: Our client has been in operation for over 10 years and predominantly operate in Sydney, rest of NSW and QLD areas. Specialising in construction, building and infrastructure surveying, they are capable of delivering to small and large clients. They are always at the forefront of innovation and will always utilise the latest engineering equipment to carry out their work.
 
About the Role: Having recently secured a number of new projects, our client is seeking a surveyor with a roads and structures background who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. The role will entail engineering surveying for a project that will entail road construction, bridge construction, piers and columns as well as all associated civils works.  You will report to the Managing director but also have full responsibility for planning your own workloads.
 
About the Requirements: The ideal Surveying candidate will possess the following:

• Formal Surveying or civil engineering qualifications
• Be a registered NSW Surveyor or be able to transfer to NSW registration or be capable of achieving registration
• Ideally have 3+ years experience
• Knowledge of Trinble engineering instruments
• GPS knowledge
• Experience of using software such as 12D
• Be a hand s on person
• Be a team player but also be able to plan your own workloads
• Strong communications
• Good IT skills
