Mechanical Engineer- Mining

Our client is an Australian contracting group operating in the areas of Mining and Civil Construction. With offices throughout Australasia, they employ thousands of people to work on major projects and they have a reputation of delivering high standards of work and innovative solutions.

They are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who has had experience working on Mining and Infrastructure or Materials Handling related projects, to join the team based near the Perth International Airport.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

• Experience in mechanical design and project management in the mining industry
• Knowledge and good understanding of materials handling projects
• In order to be successful, candidates will be required to display;
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years experience on Mining related projects;
• Good interpersonal and management skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong leadership skills and abilities;
• A commitment to safety;
