Why does the job exist?
Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, you will demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous improvement through the supervision of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring the optimal utilisation of all resources through effective management of labour and materials.
Duties will include planning, monitoring and reporting of equipment maintenance, with responsibility for procurement, personnel scheduling and assist with shutdown planning and execution and management of small projects at various sites.

What skills and experience do you need?
To be successful in this role you must hold a current electrical license and ideally have completed the High Voltage Switching course and Electrical Nominee course. Additionally you should have significant experience in the electrical field (ideally underground) with exposure to industry maintenance planning techniques and computerised maintenance systems, such as JD Edwards and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
