Pipeline Engineer - QLD and WA

Our client is a unique, consulting engineering firm with offices in four states of Australia as well as having international locations. Specifically, they specialise in all aspects of pipelines with a speciality for Oil and Gas.


With major projects lined up for 2012 and beyond, they are currently seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer which experience in the onshore pipeline industry.

The role requires:
  • Appropriate qualifications in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or equivalent plus 7+ years relevant onshore pipeline industry experience;
  • Ability to work in a team environment to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Experience in pipeline design and exposure to compressor stations and end-of-line facilities;
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and the ability to work autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects;
  • Exposure to Australian Standard AS 2885;
  • Awareness of relevant Australian petroleum acts, regulations, standards and codes;
  • Technical experience within pipeline, and/or oil and gas industry.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Regulatory Requirements for operating pipelines, as well as having a sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Your expertise and operational advice will be sought for and respected with the company’s Pipeline clients.
In order to be successful, candidates will need to have 8 and 15 years experience in Mechanical, Structural or Chemical Engineering with a reliable amount of exposure to Pipelines.
