Exploration Geologist

Job Description: 
We are currently working with an ASX Listed, Western Australian focused gold producer and nickel explorer. We are presently recruiting for an experienced Exploration Geologist.

This opportunity has arisen for a motivated, results orientated individual. Reporting to the project Manager your primary focus will see you working autonomously in a small, but well supported, exploration team involved with the daily planning and implementation of the company's exploration strategy. This will include collection & supervision of field data, planning & implementation of sampling and drilling programs.
 
To be considered for this position you will require:

• Tertiary qualification in mining geology or related discipline
• 3 - 5 years exploration geology experience.
• Strong exploration and mineral identification expertise.
• Generating targets.
• Evaluating prospects.
• Interpreting data and assisting in development and implementation of resource modelling strategies.
• Resource modelling
• Planning drilling programmes.
• Gold / Nickel experience preferred.
• Experience of diamond drilling.
• Be an Australian resident; hold a valid visa or permanent residency.
• Must have previous Australian experience
