Due to continued growth this leading Mining Consulting firm is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Perth based team and provide their extensive expertise to open pit clients.  They have an excellent reputation in the industry, with both clients and employees, and the position represents a unique and exciting opportunity for you.


You will provide Geotechnical knowledge to clients, both from the office and on site where necessary. Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, utilising your technical expertise to develop and analyse models used for Geological mapping as well as completing Geotechnical interpretations. You will train and mentor junior members of the team and maintain a solid relationship with clients, communicating your findings, advice and expertise both verbally and through written reports. You will represent the company at industry events and conferences and engage in regular training, thereby constantly adding to your knowledge and furthering your personal development. 


You will possess a tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering as well as solid operational experience in the Australian open pit mining industry and a sound knowledge of instrumentation. Excellent personal presentation is essential, as are solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
