Exploration Geologist

This junior company is looking for a passionate geologist to join its exploration team. Working in a highly prospective and promising area, this company has discovered a high grade deposit and is continuing drilling throughout 2012.


Working in a well established team, your main responsibilities will be supervising RC rigs, chip logging, analysing and interpretation, creating geological cross sections and entering/approving drill data. You will have full support and training from your superiors who will be based on site.


You will bring with you a tertiary qualification in Geology and it is essential you have a minimum of 6months experience in a field based role and knowledge of exploration protocols. 


Initially a 3month contract, this is likely to extend and there may be the opportunity for a permanent role in the future. Depending on your experience and knowledge, they are offering a highly competitive day rate.
