Job Description
Reporting to the Underground Mine Manager, the Mining Engineer will be responsible for the design of drill & blast plans and production reporting. In addition to this, the Mining Engineer will be required to assist in the short/medium term mine planning and scheduling of underground operations and will be heavily involved in the ventilation aspects of the mine site.

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this underground Mining Engineer role, you will ideally; 

• Have tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or equivalent 
• Possess 4-5 years experience in underground hard rock mining environments 
• Possess significant experience in drill & blast design 
• Have a sound knowledge of mine software packages such as Surpac
