Senior Mine Planning Engineer

This successful underground operation is now looking for a Senior Mining Engineer to join their small but stable technical services team. You are a technical expert in your field who thrives in a team environment as well as working independently. 
 
Throughout this role your main responsibilities will include preparation of the life of mine plan and budget, continually sourcing necessary data from the mine site operating departments to manage the long term planning and forecasting, monitoring the engineering systems and business processes, identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and formulate alternatives and improvements to systems and methods.  Your role will also include duties of providing training, mentoring and development skills to junior engineers and to develop continuous improvement targets for the function and drive and measure achievement of these targets.
 
You will have degree in Mining Engineering and proven experience in underground mining operations. Strong experience in mining specific softwares will be highly regarded. This can be a FIFO role from Perth or residential in Kalgoorlie and will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to work in an experienced and friendly team, good working conditions and a competitive remuneration.
