An exciting job opportunity exists within one of Queensland’s Major Coal Mines for a CHPP Superintendent in the Bowen Basin Region.  This senior management role offers an attractive salary, lifestyle roster and an opportunity to take the next step in your career with a major mining company.  


Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance activities for CHPP equipment.  As a successful applicant you will provide strong leadership, clear direction and task assignment to supervisors and maintenance crews.  With previous experience in a CHPP superintendent capacity you will be responsible for the successful management of sub-contractors on site.


With relevant experience in a CHPP Superintendent capacity, you will be responsible for achieving plant availability and reliability targets, ensuring planned maintenance activities are completed with minimal impacts on productivity and that cost minimisation is a clear focus of all supervisor and maintenance crews.


Suitable Trade or Professional Qualifications and previous experience in an open cut mining environment are key requirements of this role.  As a successful applicant you will have previous experience with MS Office and exposure to CMMS systems.  Your effective communication, leadership and problem solving skills will assist you in the supervision of supervisors and crews in this role.
