An exciting job opportunity has arisen within one of Queensland’s major coal mines for a Maintenance Scheduler in the Bowen Basin region. An attractive salary, work-life balance on a 5:2 4:3 roster and career progression is on offer with this role.


With relevant experience in maintenance scheduling you will plan and schedule major maintenance works to ensure optimal safety, maintainability and reliability of equipment. As a successful candidate you will also have experience in maintaining heavy mobile equipment in an open cut environment. You will also be responsible for playing the vital link between maintenance and production departments by ensuring maintenance schedules coincide with the minimisation of downtime on all mobile equipment on site.  Previous experience with CMMS’ such as SAP, Ellipse etc and the Microsoft Office suite is a crucial requirement of this role.


Appropriate Trade Qualifications in a mechanical trade or electrical trade and hands on maintenance experience on heavy mobile equipment are key requirements of this role. Your effective communication and organisation skills will be crucial in handling multiple functions simultaneously.
