Key Accounts Manager

Introduction

Our client is an international company based in Isando and delivers end-to-end solutions for all mining, transportation, milling, processing and waste management activities.

They are looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Experience :

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a customer relationship management environment in a large organization
  • Intimate knowledge of mining industry with pumps in particular
  • Excellence in customer relations and achieving sales targets
  • Marketing
  • Computer literacy (ERP System, advanced excel and word)
  • Experience in non-slurry products an advantage
  • Experience in servicing the mining industry at a managerial level
  • Experience in negotiation and presentations at a senior level
  • Experience in analysing trends and implementing corrective/preventive actions

Job Specification

Key Tasks

  • Monthly identification and analysis of key accounts
  • Undertake effective and efficient CRM with identified key accounts (including database)
  • Proactively manage the respective key accounts (KAM meetings, monthly reports, purchasing trend analysis and debtors days)
  • Formulate a key account plan, including suitable strategies to maintain and grow the business across product lines.
  • Generate and execute marketing initiatives to build long-lasting relationships with key accounts (e.g. exchange programmes, customer days, sponsorships, social events)
  • Support (or initiate where necessary) the development of operational level, capabilities to build, grow and maintain profitable key account relationships
  • Execution of editorial in line with editorial plan as it relates to KAM
