Sales Engineer - Rentals

Introduction

Our client is looking for a qualifed Fitter with experience in Mechanical Engineering in the Middelburg area.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:

• N3 Fitter
• 5 years experience in mechanical engineering
• 2 years experience in sales within a mining environment
• Must have worked in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Sales experience an advantage
• 3 year post qualification experience in pumping applications
• Coal prep / project management an advantage

Job Specification

Duties will include the following:

• Site evaluations
• Site calculations
• Maintain project
• Generate new projects
• Forecast pumps and spares
• Customer satisfaction on products
• Select pumps on various applications
• Expedite clients pumps and spares orders
• Observe all HSE requirements at branch
• Submit quotes and tenders as per customer request
• Perform standby duties as and when required
• Provide technical assistance and after sales service to clients
• Service existing clients and develop new business on all products
