Parts Store Runner

We require a Parts Store (Runner) for our Mining Division to be based at our Head Office in Springs.

Responsibilities and specifications pertaining to the job:

• Senior Certificate or equivalent thereof.
• Technical “brain” and must be able to identify earthmoving, construction and mining parts
• Excel Advanced a must
• Parts planning and stock counting experience a must
• To physically ensure that parts on stock sheet correspond with actual stock on shelves.
• Assist parts sales to give actual parts availability
• Assist Workshop and Mid-life planners on actual parts availability
• To assist with the daily parts planning and correspond with the buyer for more accurate purchasing of parts and therefore insuring that no under stocking or over stocking takes place.
• Assist with perpetual stock counts at Head office and assist the inventory controller with stock counts at all Branches
• Ensure and assist where ever possible that all shipping paperwork for part that needs to be shipped is correct.
• Ensure and assist where ever possible that all returned parts and necessary paperwork is in order before returning parts back to overseas factories.
• Must hold a valid passport
• Must reside on the East Rand - no relocation
• Non smoker
• Driver’s License
• Own transport essential
