This Kalgoorlie-based miner is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their talented team. They are a strong producer of gold in WA and have a positive reputation in the market as a great place to work and as a company who look after their employees.

You can be part of their operation and drive Geotechnical excellence. 

Some of your main responsibilities will include monitoring data collection, evaluation and interpretation of all Geotechnical data, analysis of designs, monitoring of design versus actual and providing advice and recommendations to Mine Planning and Production Engineers.

You will assist with Geotechnical interpretations and the assessment of risk, as well as constantly seeking out ways to improve both safety and the efficiency of production. 
 
To excel in this role you will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in a Geotechnical role in an open pit operation.

You will possess strong communication and organisational skills and a strong commitment to the safety of your peers.
