Another senior position has presented itself with Australia's largest materials handling project.  This opportunity is available immediately!!  With management responsibility this role will play a vital role in the overseeing the continuing quality of NPI construction. 
 
Site based position.
Management and Mentoring Responsibility

As this large EPCM project rolls into to the next important stage of the overall construction process there is now a need for a senior Civil⁄Structural focused Construction Manager to join this exciting project.  This project is set to continue for a minimum of 18 months and offers the ideal candidate a chance to be at the forefront of the projects success.   Based on site in the Pilbara region this role will be responsible for the construction phase of a large mine site's infrastructure expansion and development project. This Senior Construction Management role will be the lynchpin to the success of this construction phase and will work closely with the client to ensure the successful delivery of this project. 
 
Duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
 
Managing aspects of purchasing, expenditure and budgets. 
Managing all aspects of the project management plan. 
Administration of contracts and management of subcontractors. 
Managing cost related forecasting and analysis. 
Ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met 
Liaising between the Engineering and site based Construction team. 
Managing all aspects of corporate and HR compliance. 
Manage industrial relations in accordance with the defined project plan 
Overseeing the training and constant development of the site based workforce. 
Proactively manage and promote the project safety plan to maintain our 'zero harm' culture
 
As an ideal candidate you will have already managed projects which have exceeded $100 million in value either working for an EPCM consultancy, a large client or a global construction or engineering company. This truly senior role will be responsible for all the activities and most importantly the safety of a large site based construction team.
 
You will need to possess:
 
Previous EPCM experience (this is essential).
A proven track record of delivering $100 million+ projects.
Experience of recruiting and managing large construction crews.
Excellent client management and relationship development skills.
A high degree of commercial acumen as well as practical construction experience.
Previous materials handling projects experience.
