With all lead engineers reporting to the successful candidate, you will be responsible for all design, procurement and construction management objectives for one of the of the most significant port expansions and upgrades ever undertaken. This is a unique opportunity for career recognition and development.
Further responsibilities will include:
Co-ordination and execution of engineering design
The management of nominated engineering packages
Ensure that all variations to the scope of work are approved and documented
Administrate budgets associated with deliverables
Monitor the project schedule and report on progress and delays under
the direction of the Construction and Commissioning Managers.
Liaise with the Construction Manager in coordinating efforts for completion of area contracts
Identify the requirements for engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages
As an Area Project Engineer - Port your prime objective is to Manage and ensure the completion of works within the allocated time and budget whilst complying with contractual specifications.
Essential requirements include:
Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent
10 - 15 years experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Project Management experience
