This multi faceted project is about to commence the next stage of port expansion. In this role the highly capable candidate will be the driving force and specialist in charge of all Maintenance and implementation of Environmental Management Systems.
Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Obtaining Environmental approvals from state and federal regulatory bodies.
Implementing Environmental Management Plans.
Water checks, sand dune protection, dredging, oil tanker decommissioning
Monitoring Contractor Environmental Management Plan.
Interfacing with all project staff for Environmental matters and support services. Managing change and recording and obtaining authorisation in accordance with Project Change.
Management and development of a strong internal environmental function.

If this is of interest to you, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
A Tertiary degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent, relevant experience
The ability to lead projects to deliver a high quality and profitable outcome
Excellent communication skills
Proven background in Marine or O&G preferred
EPCM experience
7 to 8 years experience as an Environmental Advisor
