This project is valued in the Billions and is about to commence the next stage of the expansion offering up a moderate length initial contract working on this multi billion dollar ground breaking O&G project. In this role the lucky candidate will be the driving force and specialist in charge of all Maintenance and implementation of Environmental Management Systems.
Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Obtaining Environmental approvals from state and federal regulatory bodies
Implementing Environmental Management Plans
Coordinating with Project Management and Design functions to manage impact on other activities
Monitoring Contractor Environmental Management Plan
Interfacing with all project staff for Environmental matters and support services
Managing change and recording and obtaining authorisation in accordance with Project Change
Management and development of a strong internal environmental function

If this is of interest to you, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
A Tertiary degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent, relevant experience
The ability to lead projects to deliver a high quality and profitable outcome
Excellent communication skills
Proven background in Marine or O&G preferred
A minimum 2 years EPCM experience
A minimum 5 years experience as an Environmental Advisor
