Senior Wastewater Process Technologist
Description and Desired Qualifications
- Our Bay Area office is seeking a Senior Wastewater Technologist with at least 10 years of professional wastewater engineering experience to serve as a technical expert in wastewater process and design, to interface with our clients, and to mentor young professionals.
Our Senior Wastewater Technologist:
- Serve as a Senior Technical Consultant on multiple projects to ensure quality and efficiency of project delivery
- Serve as wastewater treatment process expert for northern CA staff and clients
- Educate staff on technology innovation and how it can be implemented to provide market differentiation
- Maintain an understanding of regulations, technology, and external drivers that may affect our clients
- Attract, develop, and retain talent.
- You should have Masters of Science in Sanitary or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on wastewater process and a PE in the state of California or ability to obtain reciprocity, and a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.

Basic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in sanitary or environmental engineering with an emphasis on wastewater process.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in wastewater process and design.
- Prior wastewater treatment plant experience with general plant processes, biosolids, and nutrient removal.
- PE in the state of California or ability to gain reciprocity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in sanitary or environmental engineering with an emphasis on wastewater process.
- Preferred 20 years’ experience in wastewater process and design.
- Prior wastewater treatment plant experience with general plant processes, biosolids, and nutrient removal.
- Demonstrate an understanding of regulations, competitors, and external drivers that may affect clients in the California market.
- Existing relationships and project experience with Bay Area and Sacramento area wastewater clients.
- Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem solving expertise.
