Description and Desired Qualifications
- Our Industrial Engineer position will give you the opportunity to be part of a global design team and work with CH2M HILL. Each day you will work within a team to design projects, including research facilities, laboratories and critical environments, incorporating sustainable and high performance concepts. You should be a self motivated, degreed individual, with two plus years of experience and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each design project.
The candidate's responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Analyzing manufacturing processes
- Developing manufacturing layouts
- Identifying equipment utility requirements and summarizing the results for use by other engineering disciplines
- Develop complex static and dynamic factory models
- Evaluate material flow and develop solutions for improvement
- Design and implement work improvement methods including tooling and fixture design
- Conduct business process re-engineering studies
- Apply Lean concepts/strategies to consulting projects
- Conduct business process mapping and evaluation
- Analyze business methods for cost reduction, quality, and reliability improvements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering
- 2 years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience
- Project experience with high-tech semiconductor facilities
Degree Required
- Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
