Structural Design Engineer

An international, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental consultancy currently have an urgent requirement for a hardworking, diligent Structural Engineer to join their busy Manchester office, and work on a range of high-profile building structures schemes in the area.

The ideal Structural Engineer will have a good degree in an Engineering subject, and will be either Chartered (ICE, IStructE) or working towards this accreditation. You will have at least 2 years UK postgraduate experience, ideally working for a consultancy, and will have experience working on building structures projects in a range of sectors. You should have experience working with the main structural materials, and be fully conversant with Eurocodes and British Design Standards.

The role of the Structural Engineer will involve both design and analysis working on a range of building structures projects in the residential, commercial, industrial and educational sectors, using materials such as Timber, Masonry, Concrete and Steel. You will be developed swiftly through the team, and will be given the opportunity to liaise with clients and manage smaller projects.
