Our Client - one of the largest private railway operators in the transport market of Kazakhstan with Oil&Gas projects - is looking for talents to the Drilling Supervisor role in Aktau field
Main Responsibilities:
• Shall serve as the primary liaison between Company and Contractor and will provide supervision of all Operations performed on Wells.
• The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the work.
• Determines, whether technical parameters are in accordance with the contract.
• Provide the daily log sheet to the Contractors.
• Prepares daily drilling and cost report for the company.
• The on-site supervisor has the authority to represent, commit and bind the company in respect of the implementation of the drilling contract in close communication with the drilling manager.
• Development of detail programs for the drilling process.
• Makes recommendations on alternative methods of equipment when unusual situations are encountered and will coordinate timely deliveries of company and Service Company materials and equipment to the Well as required.
• Ensures that the drilling team maintains the Rig and Equipments adequately to maximize efficiency and minimize down time, and that company materials and equipment are properly utilized, handled and stored.
• Ensures that all company Safety Rules and HSEQ Regulations are followed.
• Evaluates new drilling equipment and procedures to reduce cost and increase work efficiency.
• Supervision of all drilling related activities as well as supervision of completion phases of the well.
• Supervision of testing programs for exploratory and development wells including multi-well interference testing.
• Coordinating with project Planner/Scheduler to optimize operations for specific work activities.
• Teach, train and develop junior or trainee staff.
Job Requirements:
• Degree Petroleum, Drilling Engineering;
• Approximately 8+ or more years professional experience in workover and drilling;
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Perfect command of English, Russian
• Management skills
• Commitment to safety, exceptional service and continuous improvement
• Computer literate, Windows XP, MS Office, Internet, MS Project
