Job Summary
- This position is accountable for providing quality assurance support to assigned programs and ensures that products are designed, procured, and manufactured according to customer and organizational quality requirements. Champions the organization’s Continuous Improvement initiatives and provides leadership for new system development, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activity, while striving to emulate best practices.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Engineer with a clear understanding of Quality concepts and tools in a high volume, high mix manufacturing environment
- Previous experience interacting with Customers and in Continuous Improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems such as ISO 9000, QS 9000, etc
- QE or Black Belt ASQ certification is preferred
