• We have an immediate need for someone to fill our Manufacturing Management Development position at our interior finishing products (IFP) plant in Dallas, TX reporting to the Field Research Manager.

Job Summary:

• This position is designed to create growth opportunities within the manufacturing operations of [Company] Interior Finishing Products (IFP) division. This position will develop the associate to where they could assume a management position at one of our IFP facilities. The immediate position would provide support for the Field Research Manager in meeting business unit objectives. The associate would have direct involvement in product development, manufacturing processes and quality programs within the IFP business unit. Exposure to these key areas will allow for a well-rounded experience creating a solid base of knowledge preparing the associate for future advancement into manufacturing management.

Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

• Manufacturing support; participate/support plant quality improvement initiatives for long-term and immediate needs.
• Statistical data collection and analysis of lab and manufacturing data.
• Support of new and reformulations of existing products to meet current customer specific requirements.
• Support scale up of new or modified formulations from lab creation through plant trials and sales commercialization.
• Create new and update existing specifications for products and raw materials.
• New rat material qualifications.
• Competitive product analysis.

Qualifications & Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree with training in a science/engineering discipline preferred; or equivalent work experience in manufacturing management, quality control or research and development.
• Willingness to grow and advance a career into Manufacturing Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Windows Office programs.
• Ability to plan, organize and execute with a strong bias for action on all assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a spirit of team work and cooperation with all internal as well as external constituents. Ability to interact comfortably with customers and vendors.
• Willingness to travel as much as 20% of the time when needed. This includes both air and automobile travel.
