Intern - Welding Engineer

Position Description

  • 2-3 month assignment working with senior welding engineers within PMD to support on-going programs and welding development in fusion and solid state welding. This will entail planning and executing laboratory work that supports specific program goals and tasks that have been established. In collaboration with PMD personnel, the candidate will plan and execute experiments in welding and NDT, collect, record and analyze data, and develop recommendations and conclusions. A final report summarizing the effort will be completed at the end of the assignment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical)
