An incredible career opportunity has become available as a Project Manager of Electrical Projects for a leading global electrical organisation within the Mining and Minerals sector. This organisation specialises in power and automation technologies within the industrial and utility sectors and has a strong focus on safety and the environment. 

Role: 
Based in Brisbane, reporting to the Business Unit Manager this role involves the financial management and control of the project budget, managing project schedule and personnel, and the successful regulation of clients, contractors and suppliers according to agreed contract for projects ranging from $5 Million to $20 Million. You will also be a strong decision maker, with the ability to represent the Project Director on occasion. 

To be considered for this role you must have: 

• An Electrical Engineering Degree or A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or have a Electrical Trade Background
• PMP or similar project management accreditation 
• Experience with project management techniques, SAP or other ERP systems and financial reporting 
• Experience as a Project Manager within the Mining and Minerals Sector on projects valuing from $5 Million up to $20 Million across multi-disciplines 
• Experience with LV and MV electrical systems, Drive Systems and Control Systems 
• Ability to deliver and lead large scale projects on time and under budget 
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent time management skills 
• Strong business acumen and budgeting skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
