MINING GEOLOGIST/CONSULTING GEOLOGIST
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the geology team and the survey department
- Provide expertise on the geological aspects of development and production in mine
- Set up the geological systems and procedures
- Assure the quality of the coal/gold extracted and ensure the safety of the extraction process
- Assess and interpret mine geology maps
- Ensure the safety of the mining site
- Handle project initiation, progress reports, and verification of data from other sources
- Perform exploring, dating and sampling mineral deposits
- Build a good rapport between the team and the clients
- Create mine models using SURPAC software

Our client, is a well known Contractor and Project Developer all over Asia. They specialise in Mining, Infrastructure and Civil disciplines.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Geotechnical, Mining Engineering or any relevant discipline
- Highly motivated and with strong analytical skills
- Must be flexible and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and contractors
- Knowledgeable in Datamine, Surpac or other related software programmes
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- With extensive skills in mine estimation
- Must be flexible and willing to travel
