Our client is on the lookout for a talented safety electrical engineer that has a strong background in safety with knowledge of electrical design, instrumentation high/low power systems, automation and control systems as well as commissioning and contracts management experience. 

Our client is an Electrical Engineering Consultancy that fulfills the need to enhance the safety and management of electrical systems within mining and heavy industry. 

Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum of a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety and experience within the mining arena who is actively seeking a new opportunity? 

Qualifications/requirements: 

• A degree or diploma in Electrical engineering 
• Belong to National Professional Engineers Australia (NPER) is essential 
• Minimum of Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety Experience in managing and developing Safety Managing Systems 
• Experience in mining Environmental Electrical Systems 
• Electrical Auditing AS3000, AS3007 and OHS Legislation 
• Coordinating projects 

Excellent remuneration and benefits are negotiable on experience for quality experienced candidates.
The role will be based in Newcastle and will require frequent travel.
This is an autonomous role. 

A Degree or diploma along with registration with NPER is essential to be considered for this role. You will have exceptional communication skills and be computer literate.
