Senior Reliability Engineer

This international gold producer has well established gold mines throughout Australia with a multitude of exciting projects in the pipeline. They therefore have superior technical and logistical knowledge in relation to effective resourcing and processing within the gold mining industry. They have an outstanding reputation in relation to their safety, performance and culture within the organisation and are now looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their team.

Role
Reporting to the Asset Management Manager you will provide leadership to the reliability engineering, condition monitoring, control and communications and operational readiness teams. You will also be responsible for the delivery of engineering capabilities to foster and promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, cost and production outcomes. This position is based in WA but will FIFO from Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

Responsibilities; 

• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the reliability and engineering teams 
• Analyse performance data, downtime records, incidents etc 
• Participate in and facilitate BI initiatives 
• Provide training, development coaching to maintenance teams
• Participate productively as part of the Engineering Leadership 
• Team Management of five years planning, section budget and cost controls 
• Ensuring safety practices are adhered to Skills and experience;
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree Mining, Quarry (Ball/SAG Mill experience will be highly regarded) or Oil and Gas experience Safety first attitude 
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills 
• Good communication and written skills CMMS, preferably SAP experience 
• Supervisory experience 

In return for your input and energy you will be rewarded with a base salary between $165,000 - $170,000 including superannuation and bonuses.
